Why are animals given salt?
Like humans, animals need it in their daily diet. Animals (domestic and wild) do not create reserves of salt in the body, so they are given salt daily in food or in the form of rock salt that animals lick. In addition to having a beneficial effect on the secretion of saliva and some other enzymes in the body, the taste of salt also improves appetite, better utilization of nutrients and most importantly, increases the resistance of animals to various diseases.
In goats and sheep, the use of salt is especially recommended in order to restore the amount of salt in the body. This will affect better digestion of food, increase milk production, fertility and the formation of horny mass.
Lack of salt in goats and sheep is recognized by the fact that they bite wood or planks, try to lick the wall or even pull each other's wool.

Masha Komerc with products is fully automated in one of the most modern production plants in Europe, Salinen Austria AG saltworks.
Production is carried out ecologically and continuously by exploitation from the mountains of the province of Salzkammergut - Bad Ischl, Altaussee, Hallstatt, which in the Austrian Alps is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
